Leana is involved in supporting the UK firm with the implementation of their global inclusion strategy, ownership of their UK reverse mentoring programme across diversity strands and supporting on wellbeing initiatives.
Leana has gained experience of workforce planning at PwC and has an extensive background in recruitment after graduating from Loughborough University with a degree in International Relations. Prior to Clifford Chance, Leana supported a number of FTSE 100 organisations to drive inclusion in the workplace, leading on ethnic minority inclusion with a particular focus on increasing the profile of the ethnicity pay gap.
In her spare time, Leana sits on the board of Show Racism the Red Card, an anti-racism educational charity and runs a small business, Nigella boutique which provides Mama to be hampers focusing on supporting Black and ethnically diverse businesses.
Monick has over 20 years' consulting experience around employee voice, culture, leadership development, D&I, change management and organisational research. She is currently at Brook Graham, a specialist D&I consultancy within global law firm Pinsent Masons.
Through her insights, facilitation and coaching, Monick has supported Boards and Executive teams to position inclusion authentically into their corporate strategies, as well as equipping HR and D&I leads to set clear priorities for action that deliver positive change.
Monick joined Brook Graham from Korn Ferry where she was a Senior Client Partner leading Account Management across EMEA in Korn Ferry’s Digital business. Prior to Korn Ferry, Monick worked for several other consultancy firms including Hay Group, Willis Towers Watson and smaller boutique firms. Her international career has included time spent living and working in Singapore, supporting clients across the APAC region.
As a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), she is a registered psychometric test practitioner and champions fair and ethical assessment and development practices.
André has worked in financial services for 13 years and as a diversity and inclusion (D&I) expert for approaching a decade. With a background in corporate communications, André has since been a D&I consultant to some of the world’s largest and most influential organisations. He has also worked in-house as a recruitment and D&I expert for firms, including Deutsche Bank and Linklaters, transforming the latter into a Top 10 social mobility organisation in the UK.
A particular specialist in early career attraction, recruitment and development, he has designed and led award-winning training and scholarship programmes for underrepresented groups.
Aside from mentoring in his spare time, André is a Trustee of the Bridge Group, a leading social equality research charity. He is also an advisory group member of the Sutton Trust’s Pathways social mobility programmes.
Laura is Head of Graduate Talent at the global law firm, Clifford Chance. In her most recent role she oversees the graduate recruitment and development teams, both of which have won awards for ground-breaking initiatives focused on improving access to the legal profession, innovation in the sector, tackling the stigma of mental health and sexual harassment in the workplace. She is also Co-Chair of the London Inclusion Committee.
She joined Clifford Chance in 2006, having previously worked at J.P. Morgan in both the graduate recruitment team and also in a generalist HR role.
With over fifteen years' graduate recruitment experience and five years' HR experience, she is a Fellow of the CIPD, a Trustee of the Bridge Group, an Opinion Leader for People in Law and a member of the National Student Pride Steering Committee. In 2020 she founded the Sustainable Recruitment Alliance and is currently Chair of the Alliance steering group. She is also a former Board Director of the Institute of Student Employers and member of the Advisory Board of The Apples & Pears Foundation, a London based charity enabling inner city families to take weekend school trips with their children and volunteers.
