Details

A number of significant developments have taken place over recent months, including in relation to the Employment Rights Bill and on sex and gender issues in the workplace following the Supreme Court’s decision in For Women Scotland. The first part of this session will serve as a refresher for HR and General Counsel’s Officers on key changes and developments, and steps law firms need to take to ensure they are well placed to deal with these.

The second part of the session will focus on hybrid working, a model that continues to evolve. With many firms reassessing their approach to office attendance, we’ll examine the legal risks of requiring employees to spend more time in the office and discuss smart adjustments to hybrid working which might hedge against emerging risks.

Chris and Shadia of Clyde & Co will lead this session, covering:

  • Employment Rights Bill
  • Sex and gender issues in the workplace: For Women Scotland and its ripple effects
