This session will take a data-driven view on which aspects of life in a firm have a positive and negative impact on firm culture – and the impact of getting it right or wrong. Drawing upon Chambers’ talent research of 10,000+ Trainees, Partners and Associates from 200+ firms from across the US and UK, the session will explore: the importance of culture; what good looks like; what interventions and programmes people think have a positive impact on firm culture and what behaviours erode it.
This session will be led by David Johnson, Director of Client Services at Chambers and Partners and lead analyst on the business’ talent engagement product: Leading Teams. With 20 years of research and insight experience, David works closely with Talent Teams and HR professionals at some of the world’s largest firms. Prior to joining Chambers, David was Global Head of Client, Market and Competitive Intelligence at Norton Rose Fulbright.
We’ll also be joined by Emma Richardson, Director of People & Development from Cripps, who will provide valuable HR perspective and practical insights on implementing culture initiatives in a law firm environment.
